Christian Studies
with Kyle Schneider
Christian Studies I is part of a three-year reading course that builds faith by teaching Salvation History as real history. Students work through one-third of The Golden Children’s Bible each year, for three years. Your child will learn the fundamentals of Bible stories, history, and geography, with solid detail at a manageable pace. Each lesson is comprised of a Scripture memory passage, important facts to know (including people, places, dates, and events), vocabulary, and comprehension questions that draw out the golden nuggets of meaning in each story. Maps, timelines, activities, and discussion questions offer the critical integration that is central to classical education.
Grade Level: 3rd to 8th Grade
Required Materials: The Golden Children's Bibie & Christian Studies I Student Guide
Note: This course is taught from a Christian religious perspective.

Reader's Theatre
with Jennifer Rauzon
Reader's Theater is a great way to teach a love of reading and increase fluency and comprehension. It is a method of reading a story aloud, like a play, without memorization, props, or a stage. Students are each assigned a character role and read their part with expression, meaning, and enthusiasm. It's best done in small, non-threatening groups of approximately 6 students so students can become practiced at their roles prior to reading/performing in front of a group or audience.
Grade Level: 1st to 4th Grade

FULL DAY for $100 off for students enrolling in the whole day.
